Using my own machine learning text generator, one of the first sets of coherent lyrics became the song shown on the left, Greece.

The lyrics were generated exactly as follows:

If I wanted to
I could go to Greece

But I wouldn't want to
If I had the heart to pull myself out of this

It's so easy to fall in love with someone else

But it's so hard to live a life without them

Focusing on the method behind David Bowie's Verbasizer, I took a page from Anna Pitoniak's The Futures, cut up the individual words and re-ordered them to generate new lyrical possibilities. 

SongFancy's 5 in 5 challenge provided a series of creative lyrical and visual prompts designed to inspire songwriters to write 5 songs in 5 days. 

I used this particular prompt similarly to the previous song, but with more creative freedom. I wanted to use at least half of the words provided with no restriction on the music creation.

Audoir is powered by SAM, an AI lyric and music generator which has been trained on thousands of hit songs. This online software is designed to inspire creativity and increase productivity.

I used both aspects of Audoir together to create this track.

Magenta, developed by Google, is an open source research project exploring the role of machine learning in the creative process.

In the instance of this song, I used it to generate and add groove to MIDI drums and compose melody line ideas.

Amper’s mission is to enable anyone to express themselves creatively through music regardless of their background, expertise, or access to resources. Amper builds tools powered by our Creative AI to help people create and customize original music.

This software was famously used by Taryn Southern to compose her album I AM AI.

Scaler 2 is a compositional tool used in conjunction with DAWs such as Logic Pro X. It is capable of detecting the key of tracks and generating material to add to it and writing chord sequences. 

I have also started to use this software to write unique string arrangements for my tracks, as shown in this video.
